What is Cash Cab?

Ben Bailey hosts this trivia game show that takes place in a cab! Unassuming taxi passengers think they are taking a normal cab ride, only to be shocked when they realize they are instant contestants on a game show. En route to their destination, contestants are asked a series of general questions which get increasingly harder, but are also worth more money. Depending on how long the trip is, a contestant could earn over $1000 in the Cash Cab.

Stand-up comedian Ben Bailey serves as host of CASH CAB, but before he started driving his cab across the city that he loves, tossing out questions, cash, quips and passengers who miss three questions, he started out as your average guy, just answering the phones at Los Angeles’ famed The Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard.

After being encouraged to try getting up on stage and performing, Bailey discovered his knack for performing and went on to perform all over the world, having been seen on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” “The Late Late Show With Craig Kilborn,” “Last Call With Carson Daly,” and more. Bailey has also been a guest-star on TV series “Hope & Faith,” “Law and Order SVU” and “MAD TV.”
