Alex Trebek

Alex Trebek (1940–2020) was an esteemed television host best known for guiding Jeopardy! for 37 seasons. Born in Canada, Trebek began his broadcasting career with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation before moving to the United States, where he became one of the most trusted and recognizable figures in game show history. With his intelligence, warmth, and steady presence, Trebek earned multiple Daytime Emmy Awards and left a lasting legacy as the face of one of television’s most celebrated quiz shows.
